Meet Aminudin Zakaria, a passionate science educator from Indonesia who is transforming Physics education in the AI era. At the Pythaverse Educator ThoughtCoCreate (TCC) 2025 Final Summit in Sapa, Vietnam, he showcased his impactful project: "Empowering Student Engagement Through Responsible AI Use in Physics Education."
The challenge: In a world of readily available AI tools, students often fall into the trap of passive reliance, simply copying answers. Mr. Aminudin's project tackles this head-on.
His solution: He trains students to become critical inquirers, leveraging AI for deeper questioning, concept analysis, and knowledge construction, not just consumption.
Key components:
✔️ Designing Physics assignments that foster creative exploration.
Training students to use AI for data analysis, hypothesis testing, and reflective learning.
✔️ Creating an inclusive environment that integrates Islamic values, technology, and ethics.
✔️ The result? Active, ethical, and collaborative learners, prepared for a future demanding more than rote knowledge.
Impact in action: Rooted in real classroom challenges at a rural Islamic school, this project is both visionary and actionable. With basic resources and Mr. Aminudin's guidance, students are accessing advanced, immersive learning experiences.
At TCC 2025, proposals were evaluated through a hybrid model:

✔️ An international expert panel for depth and relevance.
✔️ Live presentations assessing clarity, innovation, and human-centered impact.
Mr. Aminudin's project earned the Bronze Award, a testament to its impact and innovation.
